Hotel Canto do Atlântico

I only stayed one night before finding somewhere else. The photos bore little resemblance to reality, and the sheets and towels were dirty. The old air conditioners were noisy, the bathroom had no ventilation, and there was a cockroach in the room. Breakfast was basic, with dishes meant to be hot served cold. They also charged me 35.00 for the garage. A terrible experience, I wouldn't recommend it.

The staff treated us so well, from the manager and reception to the people handling breakfast and the rooms. They even made a birthday cake for my husband and joined in singing to him, which was great. Our room was clean. We weren't cold, since we took two blankets, though warmer ones would've been better, and a Netflix app was missing. I highly recommend the hotel and we'll definitely come back. Keep looking after people, that's a real difference.

The view is lovely, and the beach is about four blocks away. Breakfast was fair for the hotel's price, with fruit, bread, eggs, cake, milk and coffee, though the juice wasn't fresh. The room floor felt sticky, and the linens and cleaning were disappointing. We booked for four, but there were only two bath towels, both badly stained and very worn. They had no hand towels or bathroom mat when we asked. The sink and toilet water were very yellow, so I had to use bottled water to brush my teeth, especially with the children.

The location is good and the employees were very welcoming, which makes the state of the place even sadder. Everything was extremely dirty: stained, torn sheets, muddy water from the tap, rubbish in the corridors and a dirty pool. We gave up on breakfast because every table was still dirty and used, and the air conditioner was so loud. It seemed there weren't enough staff for the demand. This was the worst place I've stayed in Guarujá.
