The neighbors were loud and ignored the quiet hours. I don’t think that was the inn’s fault, but they could have helped by calling the local police, and they didn’t. The bedrooms are very old, and breakfast is extremely basic. The price is almost reasonable, but you’d have to be desperate to pay it. The place is close to the beach, though the neighbors weren’t friendly and weren’t the kind of people you’d want to run into at night. There is a pool, but it needs maintenance, especially the wooden section, which is rotten from being in constant contact with water.

We went for dinner around 7 pm on January 2, 2026, as the restaurant is open to the public. The food was delicious, especially the fresh rice and beans, good salad, and wonderful fish. Service was the letdown. The young man seemed to be handling both the bar, with drinks and pool, and the restaurant. After ten minutes with nobody coming over, I had to go to the bar counter to order. When we arrived, he ignored us, and we had to practically beg him to take our order. Several tables still had dishes and glasses on them instead of being cleaned for the next customers. The food really is excellent and home-style, but I hope they improve the restaurant service.
