Pousada Ilha Bonita

I respect other people’s opinions, but after seeing the place for myself, I found that the photos didn’t match it at all. I arrived at night on 09/01/26, and the access was difficult. I drove about 500 meters along the beach to get there. Andreia treated us very well and handed over the key to room 05, but the musty smell hit us right away. I looked at the floor and saw cockroaches, and more were coming out of the bathroom drain. My wife cried. She had planned this trip, and Andreia saw the cockroaches herself, along with a guy who works there whose name I unfortunately don’t know. We’re trying to get a refund, and I wish I had photos. I have no reason to lie, and I hope the owner takes a look at the establishment. As for the pictures, I was told they were from 5 years and 03 years ago.

My stay was awful. The room smelled moldy and the place was full of cockroaches. The food was supposed to be all-you-can-eat, but the portions were stingy, and breakfast tasted stale.

I love quiet beaches, so this was such a find. The pousada is right on the sand, and the beach is even more beautiful. The place is lovely, and everyone was warm and attentive. Dona Edione was especially wonderful to us, and staying with them felt like being at home. Getting an Uber was a little tricky because the bars we went to were closer to the center and some drivers were fussy about the pousada’s location, but that didn’t make me love the stay any less. I highly recommend visiting if you can. I’m sure you won’t regret it. Many blessings, and heartfelt thanks to everyone at the Pousada!

The rooms were clean and organized, and breakfast was impeccable. It’s a lovely pousada, with helpful, down-to-earth people and top-notch service. I highly recommend it.
