Pousada Iza I

Isa and her team bring a lot of care to this place. The pool is always clean, the rooms are comfortable, the air conditioning is quiet, and the bed linens feel like they belong in a five-star hotel. Easily the best inn in the whole area. Highly recommend it in both peak and off-season.

This was one of the worst inns I’ve stayed at. The room smelled of mold, and they only cleaned every two days. Breakfast was French bread still in the bakery bag with margarine, scrambled eggs with mortadella, coffee, and powdered juice. They also charged me more than we’d agreed: the rate was 450 per night, but she charged 1700 for three nights, which my husband paid because he didn’t know the agreed price. I don’t recommend it. If the business were listed on Reclame Aqui, I’d definitely have filed a complaint. The nearby Praia da Enseada was dirty and smelly too.

The owner was very welcoming, and the rooms were tidy and comfortable. It’s a good value, especially for a weekend near the beach. There’s an Extra hypermarket, an ATM, a pharmacy, and a really good artisan burger place nearby. I recommend it if you want to stay close to the beach for a weekend.

Iza, the owner, is super friendly and ready to help. The beach and shops are very close, and the pool and room were good. The room had a minibar, air conditioning, and an okay TV. Breakfast isn’t served, but she provides a microwave, stove, fridge, and other facilities to use. One suggestion for Iza: invest in breakfast and you’ll get more guests!
