The beach was crowded and full of trash. I stepped on a toothpick buried in the sand and hurt my foot. There were pigeons all over the beach, the ones associated with cryptococcosis, because visitors feed them. The beach is surrounded by holiday colonies and is packed every day. The little market had no handmade crafts, just products from Bras.

The beach nearby is great, with calm waves, and it's close to the shopping mall, about a 30-minute walk. There's an arts and crafts market, and Padaria do seu Vidal is on the street behind the building, accessible via the market. That street also has restaurants, bars, drink shops, mini markets, and a pharmacy. The building is known by name, but also as triplex do L. It's old and shows plenty of wear. The pool, barbecue area, and gym are for residents only, despite many seasonal rental ads listing those amenities.
