The room is close to the highway, and it’s near the shop out front where reception is located. Reception seems to operate while the clothing shop is open; afterward you keep the key. I’m not sure how late check-in works. There’s a large, airy, well-lit room with a kitchen setup, including utensils, a sink, and a full-size fridge, which could be handy if you plan to cook. Breakfast was great, and the team serving it was attentive and helpful.

It’s handy to be right by the highway, yet the place was quiet. Service was very kind and breakfast was really good. The facilities, though, are quite basic. There’s no bedside lamp or handheld bidet sprayer, the bedroom walls could use paint, and the bathroom has a simple electric shower and plastic sink. The price fits a tourist town, but this never felt like a five-star place, despite what booking suggests.

The hotel is well located, but our stay wasn’t great. In our room, the toilet was inside the shower stall, so even after using the floor squeegee, the bathroom was a mess whenever we needed to use it. I’ve never stayed somewhere that schedules breakfast by time before. I also asked the night receptionist for an extra blanket, but she said her knee was injured and she wouldn’t climb the stairs to get one. I offered to go up myself, but she said there were no more blankets because the hotel was full. They seem unprepared for busy periods, and I think some things need rethinking.

Having to pick a breakfast time felt unnecessary, especially since the breakfast room was nearly empty. The rooms also left something to be desired when it came to cleanliness.

We stayed in room 13 for our trip to Expo by Natal on the 15th and 16th, and had a great time. It’s a large room with three double beds, a microwave, table, cup, cutlery, a small plate, and a full-size fridge with water, beer, and soda. The TV has Netflix, and we slept really well without any noise. Just keep in mind that room 13 is outside, so you’ll get wet if it rains, though an umbrella is enough to manage. The bathroom was good, but there’s no shower enclosure, so water gets everywhere. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh orange juice and Rosansela’s delicious chicken pie. It’s a shame she’s leaving. Natália was so sweet, and both she and Rosansela were very polite. Victoria at reception was lovely too. She explained everything, including which keys open the other doors, so pay attention to that. I actually liked booking a breakfast time. It avoids a crowd, and they do the same at the hotel in Gramado. I think every hotel should do it that way.
