There was a cockroach in the room, which says a lot about the hygiene and left me wondering what the kitchen must be like. The bathroom was disgusting too: the floor was visibly dirty, the shower sprayed more onto the wall than onto you, and the water kept swinging between very hot and cold. I honestly wish the hotel owner would take a shower there to see for themselves. There were problems all over the room. The air conditioner was noisy, the door wouldn't close, the lighting was faulty, the TV had poor sound, and the bedding looked like it hadn't been washed. Dinner was just as bad. It took over two hours to arrive despite several requests, and when it finally came, it was cold. The Heineken ran out quickly and wasn't restocked. This was an awful stay, with neglect and poor maintenance and none of the basic standards I'd expect from a hotel. I don't recommend it, and hope the owner sorts these problems out before taking in more guests.
