Pousada Casa Grande

This was our second stay, and we were welcomed just as warmly as the first time. The rooms are airy and always clean, the staff are very helpful, and breakfast is great and complete. We'll definitely be back.

The colonial style windows and garden-facing veranda gave the place a countryside feel right in town. Casa Grande took me back in time, with a simple night's sleep and lots of thoughtful detail rather than luxury. I found a place at the last minute during the August festival. Márcia and Martha welcomed me after I told them about the hardships I'd made it through to finish the pilgrimage. The staff were attentive and did what they could to make guests happy. Breakfast was simple but did the job. I'm grateful for the warm, comfortable stay.

I really enjoyed staying here. The staff were so friendly, and the place was clean, simple, and comfortable. It stayed cool even without air conditioning, which stood out to me. It's a historic place and worth seeing. I’m grateful they let me bring my two little dogs 🐾🐾

The rooms don't have air conditioning or a mini fridge, but they do have two large fans. We were very happy with the breakfast: three kinds of bread, including whole wheat, sliced cheese and ham, cake, papaya, and fresh orange juice. Everything was fresh, and the table was thoughtfully laid out with cups, plates, cutlery, and napkins ready for us. The inn is charming, in a historic building that keeps its original character, right in the historic center, with restaurants, a market, and a pharmacy within walking distance. Our room and private bathroom were spotless and neatly arranged. Everyone was welcoming, especially dona Irene, who is a lovely person. It's a simple inn, but it gives us what matters most: cleanliness, organization, and good service. We'll stay here whenever we come to Iguape.
