Getting there is an adventure in itself, since part of the trip to this beautiful project on a small island is by boat. Once there, it's a wonderful place to enjoy nature, eat delicious food, connect with great people, and explore Cananeia, the oldest town in Brasil.

A deeply moving, almost otherworldly experience.

This should have been my second New Year's stay at this camping spot, but this time was a big letdown. After a six-hour drive, security told us to leave the car on the street so we could check in. Once we'd paid in full, they said electricity was only available for charging phones. The rules themselves aren't my issue; the listing should have made that clear. I'd camped there the year before and had been able to use electricity, so I hadn't thought to ask. The managers came across as amateurish and spent the whole time making excuses. With practically no other options nearby, I had to find another camping place. I hope the management at Namaste becomes more professional and doesn't do this to anyone else. They certainly won't do it to me again.

We rented a spot at the camping site for New Year's, but weren't told that guests couldn't use the electricity. I've camped for a long time, and this was the first place where I couldn't. Imagine being left in the dark without a fan in the middle of summer. We gave up on the booking, and they refunded us without any trouble. Still, customers should be told in advance about the electricity restriction. I travelled a long way with two children, and it turned into a hassle because we only found out when we arrived to put up our tents. It's such a shame because the place is beautiful and full of trees. I don't recommend the camping site.

I really liked the camping site. The welcome was good, and the facilities seemed adequate. I did find it odd that they charged extra to camp with a pet. That increased the price by 50%, making it expensive for what was offered, so I stayed for less time than planned. Still, my dog and I loved the space and the little dogs who live there.
