Canto Bella Terra Pousada

The owner of the pousada, Geórgia, was wonderful and patient, explaining each of Ilhabela’s spots. The room was cozy, clean and quiet, and breakfast was tasty. A great experience. I highly recommend it!

Geórgia, the owner, was extremely attentive, and breakfast was complete and very good, with the option of eating in either of two areas. There’s a pool and a barbecue area, and the property was very clean and beautiful. The location is great, around seven minutes on foot from the center, or about ten by car. The pousada is simple but very cozy, and good value for the money. I highly recommend it.

After our outings, we really needed a good rest, and the warm shower and comfortable bed were just right. The pousada feels like a peaceful hideaway amid all the beach activity, with a lovely atmosphere and excellent service. Its location is strategic, close to the ferry and with easy access in every direction on the island. The small separate chalets offer privacy, as does the huge garden and orchard, which also bring a nice nature feel. We woke up to birdsong and had a delicious breakfast on the veranda. Everything was wonderful.

There’s lots of greenery, nature and birds around this lovely pousada. It’s well located near beaches and shops, about 15 minutes from the historic center with its bars and restaurants. The rooms were comfortable and the bathroom worked well. The hosts were so kind and polite, and parking was easy. Breakfast was tasty too. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in Ilhabela, and we’d definitely like to come back.
