ILHABEACH Suítes e Chalés

We had a terrible experience and I absolutely do not recommend this place. The room was dirty, with someone else’s bandage under the bed. At check-in, we were sent to the wrong room, and one room in our reservation was meant for five people but didn’t have enough beds. The owner was very rude, refused to acknowledge their mistake, refunded what we’d paid for one extra day, and told us to leave. We tried to talk it through, but he was arrogant and didn’t care that we had children or whether we had somewhere else to go. He simply threw us out, then made up a story to blame us.

I stayed there for two weeks. The price was excellent, and the owner is one of the most incredible people I’ve met, very helpful, polite, and professional. Juliana, the staff member, is a sweetheart. The location is amazing, just a 2 minute walk to the beach. I recommend it to everyone. Negative reviews without a basis shouldn’t count.

The ladies who helped us were really good. They changed the bedding and even offered to clean the room the next day at no extra cost. Still, we were unlucky with our room: it had leaks, and because it was a holiday there wasn’t another room available for us. The air conditioner was old, noisy, and had no temperature control. The hotel really needs a major renovation.

The thoughtful service made our stay special, especially when the owner took the trouble to return my daughter’s bikini. There’s no breakfast, but the barbecue area is a nice extra for relaxing. The place feels warm and welcoming, with very clean rooms, comfortable beds, and air conditioning that worked properly. The bathroom was just as tidy, and the towels smelled fresh. Ilha Beach Suítes e Chalé is well cared for and comfortable.
