Mirante Da Ilha

The pool area, deck, views, and barbecue were all fantastic, and Juan, the manager, was very helpful. We spent all 10 days of our island trip at Pousada Mirante Da Ilha. The rooms were pleasant and fair for the price, and the kitchenette had a fridge and sink, so I could make quick meals. I ate well with a few frozen foods and had coffee in the room every day. It's about a five-minute walk to Perequê beach and 15 minutes to the shopping area. The place has a lot of charm, though anyone who struggles with stairs should ask for the first room since it's larger. There's also a simple skewer restaurant on the same street with excellent takeaway lunch boxes and food to eat there. Definitely worth it. I'll absolutely be back!

The main drawback is the stairs. There are a lot of steps to reach the rooms, so it wouldn't be a good fit for kids, older guests, or anyone with trouble on stairs. The inn is good value, though, and clean and well kept, including the pool. There's a small lookout above the barbecue with a partial view of the Ilhabela channel. The barbecue area could use more of the utensils needed for cooking.

A peaceful place for a short stay. The pool in the shared area was calm, clean, and well maintained, and the rooms had what we needed, including air conditioning, a microwave, and a minibar. Sr. Ruan was a great host. Perequê beach is close enough that we didn't need to drive, and the little town center, Vila, is nearby too.

The inn sits on a hillside, so getting to the rooms and pool means climbing quite a few stairs. Keep that in mind if stairs might be difficult for you. The rooms were attractive and clean, the prices were fair, and the staff were really attentive and friendly. I'd recommend it to everyone else.
