We stayed for four days on our drive north. The hosts were extremely nice and accommodating. The rooms are basic but good enough, and at R$80 per night in low season, it’s a very good deal. There are parking spaces outside, and the island is so safe that leaving the car out there isn’t a risk.

Mr. Roberto made the stay especially nice, he’s an amazing person. The pousada is very good and close to downtown and the proprietors.

The rooms look badly in need of renovation, and the place is so run-down that it doesn’t justify the price. The photos should be updated because they don’t match reality. Breakfast was terrible: no French bread, just cheese bread, limited to one tray of six mini pieces per room. The jacuzzi had apparently been broken for years, from what I could tell.
