The pool area has a nice covered spot beside the breakfast room and a beautiful stretch of woods. The room itself was fine, with a firm bed and warm bedside lamps on both sides. There’s an old, handsome solid wood wardrobe with drawers and hangers, plus a hair dryer and blanket inside. A big mirror, microwave, sink and minibar were useful too. The old air conditioner worked very well. The bathroom was good, with a roomy shower and an excellent Lorenzetti Top Jet, although the sink is outside the bathroom and the window is tiny. We were in room 08. There was one sofa with three or four seats, but no chair or armchair. The outdoor area didn’t feel visually private, and there weren’t any seats, so I found it useless. The outlets were a drawback: there weren’t many, only on one side of the bed and beside the sofa at the foot of the bed. The one outside the newer three-pin standard meant I couldn’t charge my laptop there to work. I stayed from Thursday to Sunday, with Thursday a holiday, and worked from home on Friday. The Wi-Fi was very poor, none of the networks worked well. Parking is first come, with six spaces in front and more beside the hotel. I had a bad start: I arrived close to midnight on the first night and parked in a space beside the property. We later learned the hard way it belonged to another hotel, and they left a rather impolite note on my car, which I’ll attach in the photos. Breakfast was decent. There were eggs, sausage in sauce for anyone who likes it, assorted breads, and the dark Australian bread was excellent and soft, definitely worth trying. The cheese bread was wonderful when I was lucky enough to get it freshly baked. There was orange, pineapple and acerola juice, milk and yogurt, and a griddle. They also had Polenguinho, butter, jam, black coffee, cereals, honey, ham, mozzarella and a white cheese. I think the fruits were melon, papaya, watermelon and pineapple. I didn’t see the jacuzzi area people had mentioned.

The rooms were clean and cozy, and the shared areas had space to relax. Everyone made us feel very welcome, and it’s a family-like place where you feel at home. I spent New Year’s and my birthday at the pousada and had an incredible time. The team was always helpful, including with suggestions for beaches. I have great memories of the place and hope to return soon. If you want somewhere to rest and recharge, this is a lovely choice.

Our trip was rescued by this hotel. We’d come from an Airbnb that didn’t work out, and booking here at the last minute turned out to be the best choice. Sandra was especially attentive and made us feel even more comfortable. The staff were polite and proactive, and the atmosphere was very cozy. The location is excellent, parking is on site, the rooms were clean and tidy, the beds very comfortable, and the facilities were impeccable. We have no complaints at all. A wonderful stay from beginning to end, and I’d recommend it without hesitation.

This was our second stay at the pousada. Sandra and Ale, the owners, take good care of the place and are helpful to guests. The staff are also very attentive and polite.

Dona Sandra is always smiling and ready to help guests with whatever they need. All the staff are attentive. Breakfast was very good, and the cleanliness was exceptional. A wonderful pousada.
