Pousada Bem Me Quer

A peaceful spot less than 500 feet from Millionaire's Beach. The people are friendly and willing to help you during your trip. I’d recommend it.

The beach is just a few steps away and absolutely beautiful. Bem Me Quer is easy to reach, reasonably priced, and has a pleasant space with a very capable, helpful team. Sights, bars, and restaurants are close too. They give you a gate key and even a remote if you have a car. Breakfast was excellent, and we had such a nice stay that we have reason to return to Ilhéus soon. Thank you, Bem Me Quer!

I honestly can’t think of a downside. The rooms were thoroughly cleaned, the beds were comfortable, and breakfast was great. Staff were so attentive, and having the gate remote meant we could come and go on our own. We could also use the common area at night. Very happy with every part of our stay, and I’ll definitely be back several times.

The staff were friendly and polite, and I appreciated the cleaning, the room’s air conditioning, and the freedom guests get. You’re given keys and a garage gate remote, and you can bring food from outside and eat on the property, including in the common area with the breakfast space and a lawn with a pool that I’d guess is about 5 by 4 meters. The beds felt almost improvised and weren’t as comfortable as I expected. Breakfast was sparse and very limited, which was disappointing. It’s decent enough for one or two nights in Ilhéus if you’re on a tight budget. Bahia stays tend to be overpriced, so it’s good for what’s available, but it isn’t cheap.
