Hospedaria Ponta Da Piteira

The breakfast was divine, and it’s pet-friendly too, which I loved. The place itself is really impressive, with tasteful old artifacts and a view that feels almost God-made. We had a lovely time at Ponta da Piteira. It’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve visited in southern Santa Catarina. Definitely worth the visit, and I can’t wait to come back. If you’re unsure about breakfast, don’t be, it’s well worth it.

It’s hard to imagine staying just one day here. We had a memorable mix of comfort, beautiful surroundings, and great service, with an indescribable view from the chalet. Breakfast was generous and delicious. There are heated pools, plus private access to the lagoon with kayaks and stand-up paddleboards available.

The bistro is fantastic, with food you don’t find elsewhere in the area, and the pools are lovely. Breakfast is brought to your suite, with plenty to eat and something new each day, so it doesn’t get repetitive. The Hospedaria has only seven suites, but they’re excellent and exceeded my expectations. The team is welcoming and very attentive, and there’s a beautiful view from every suite and shared area. You can get to the lagoon and then the sea through the private access, with a fairly easy walk even for someone like me who isn’t very fit. You’ll need a car to visit the beaches, but it’s well worth it. This feels like an investment in the soul.

We chose this place for our 40th wedding anniversary and couldn’t have picked a nicer spot. The rooms have a stunning view, and they bring you that wonderful coffee at whatever time you ask for it. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. We also really enjoyed the bistro, with its pleasant setting, good food, and wonderful service. Highly recommend it for the privacy, discretion, and beautiful setting. See you again soon.
