A relaxed, welcoming hostel right in the middle of town. The hosts are really friendly.

If you like a rootsy vibe, this place is simple but welcoming. The hygiene was a real problem, though. There was mold on the fridge shelves and inside the kitchen cupboards, and slime and mold on the bathroom tiles. Cleaning gear was just left beside the shared sink near the bathrooms, and it didn’t look like it got used much. After I left, they asked on WhatsApp how my stay had been. I brought these issues up, and they tried to explain that the owner wasn’t investing in painting or improvements, but my complaint was about cleanliness. They didn’t even know how to take the feedback they’d asked for. I wouldn’t recommend it.

A good place to relax, make new friends, and enjoy the owners’ kindness and attention. It’s clean, feels safe, and is well located near the main beaches and lakes, which you can reach on foot.

This hostel was filthy. I found several cockroaches, huge spiders, and other bugs in both the room and bathroom. The beds had blood stains, and the floor looked like it had never been cleaned. The owners seemed not to care about guests and offered no help, as if they were only there to make money. We booked at one price, then they tried to charge more at check-in. Worst hostel ever!

I couldn’t stay more than one night and moved to another hostel. The rooms were frighteningly dark and unhygienic, and cockroaches were crawling around the bathroom. The owners seemed to take their exhaustion and frustrations out on the guests.
