Pousada Areias Do Rosa

We felt genuinely welcome, thanks in particular to Gabi and Kai, who were attentive, polite, available, and lovely to deal with from beginning to end. It made a real difference. The place is beautiful, quiet, welcoming, and very well cared for, just like the photos or maybe even better. It has great facilities and a warm, personal kind of service. It was a special stay, and somewhere we’d return to and recommend.

It’s in a good spot, about 700 meters from the center for meals and shopping. There’s parking at the inn, though it gets a little cramped if all the spaces fill up. Reception and checkout were fine, with friendly and attentive service. The inn is cozy, with good facilities, a barbecue, a small pool, and a good breakfast that could be a little better. Our room was spacious, but the bathroom was small and already needed some maintenance.

Kai ❤️ was especially welcoming, and everyone else on the staff treated us really well too. We had a great stay: the apartment was very good, breakfast was generous, and there was a great barbecue area. They also lend out beach umbrellas and towels, which meant we didn't have to pack those from home. We had such a lovely few days there, thank you!

The photos made the rooms look clean and well kept, so the apartment was a letdown. In reality, it had old furniture, very poor mattresses, and a bad shower. The cleaning also left a lot to be desired. I wouldn't recommend it.
