Fantastic.

The best thing is the location for going out at night. We could walk to the restaurants and bars in the center of Rosa without needing a car. The inn is right beside Baixo Rosa, though, where parties usually go until two in the morning. If you're after quiet like we were, it's a poor fit. It can sound like a live band is playing in the room, and there's street noise too. Two restaurants opposite play music for much of the day. We booked a "superior" suite with a bathtub, and the room was clean. But hot water was a problem every day, even after we told the staff. Of our four days, two meant cold showers, and the other two we kept switching between hot and cold, including with the tub. We didn't feel anything was done about it. The location is handy for restaurants on foot, and the beach is close, best reached by car. Room service was normal. Breakfast cost 60 reais per day. It was simple and tasty, nothing special, and we thought it was expensive. The heated pool had sand on the bottom, though it generally looked organized. Late checkout was offered for 420 reais, with departure at 15:00. Even with the water issue, they weren't kind enough to offer a discount or include that option for free.

The reception staff were wonderful, friendly, and helpful, and we felt welcome from the start at Paraíso Gaia. It's a cozy, peaceful inn and a lovely place to rest at Praia do Rosa. I'd absolutely recommend it and come back! 💙

We stayed here for the second time this year, and it's still my favorite place to stay in Rosa. The rooms are cozy and very clean, and the whole team is capable and so friendly. The inn is fantastic.
