The bed was very comfortable, the shower was adequate, and the bathroom was a bit small. The room was cleaned daily, and the towels were changed each day. This is a very simple, "rootsy" pousada, much like the image Praia do Rosa tries to project. Its price is its biggest draw and a real advantage over other local pousadas. The rooms and cottages vary a lot, so check exactly what's included by calling and asking. Don't rely only on the online booking sites. We booked the "chalet with kitchen," but what we got was a suite with a shared kitchenette. I needed to work on my laptop, even on vacation, and there wasn't a proper desk and backed chair. They brought a table, but I had to use a stool. The dining table is outside, which gives meals an interesting feel, but it's exposed to the weather and dirt. It gets strong sun at some times, so eating lunch there can be difficult. I'd recommend the suite to couples without children who only want a kitchen for snacks and breakfast, not full meals. It deserves four stars, but I gave three because the room I stayed in was poorly described.

I wouldn't recommend this pousada to anyone. The photos on the website had nothing to do with what we found: the facilities were awful and had no proper amenities. We stayed only one day because we'd already paid, then moved to a much better place for the same price. The room smelled moldy and looked old and neglected, more like a favela. It seems they use photos from when the facilities were new, which is misleading. There are plenty of other good, comfortable pousadas. It's a shame not all business owners are honest.

I absolutely don't recommend this pousada. We booked one room but were given a different one when we arrived. Then, during the April holiday weekend in 2017, someone hit our car in the parking lot. There were security cameras, but nobody took our concern seriously. We're still waiting, as of October 2017, for the promised "camera review" and a response from the owners. We were left with the loss. Completely disrespectful.

The pousada generally delivers what it promises. Our double room was quite basic, but the price was worth it. There's a pool table, hammocks in front of every room, and a beautiful view of the beach. The one thing that could be improved is the bathroom shower stall, which is very narrow. I'd come back another time for the price.

We came from Curitiba for a weekend at Pousada terra linda na praia do rosa, expecting to enjoy both nights of our deal. We checked in Saturday but left on Sunday and couldn't stay for the second night. The room was awful: old wooden furniture, a bad smell, dust all over the bed and room, and pillows without covers. The kitchen was advertised as equipped, but there wasn't even a match to light anything, the oven didn't work, and the dishes were filthy. There was no dish soap or sponge either, even though we'd brought food to make breakfast there. Not a single TV channel worked, and there was no internet. We were looking forward to a restful, cozy weekend, and instead it was terrible. It felt like a real lack of respect for customers and misleading advertising.
