Pousada Vale Verde Bungalows

The price felt high for the limited offering, especially in peak season, and the beaches are far enough away that you need a car to reach them. This place is really suited to people who only plan to sleep there. It doesn’t provide proper household items for cooking, such as pots and general dishes. The bedding had stains, the sheet had no elastic and kept slipping off, and one bed had an ultra-thin mattress.

The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with a lovely view. The inn is wonderful, and Júlio is incredibly helpful and friendly. He helped me with everything I needed throughout my stay. I’ll definitely return.

We rented a bungalow for six, but there weren’t enough dishes or utensils for everyone, including mugs, plates, and cutlery. The basement bedroom smelled musty, and we couldn’t open the windows because insects would come in. The living room was basically a sofa and a TV in a corridor. There also wasn’t a shared area to spend time together.

We love bungalow number five, especially its huge outdoor area with a hammock and rocking chair. It’s an easy place to switch off and relax. We’ve stayed here twice, once in summer three years ago and again this August. Júlio, who owns the inn, is attentive and great to chat with, and always has suggestions for places nearby. The location is handy too, just two blocks from the town center with its restaurants and little bars. You can walk to Rosa Norte from the inn, though driving is better for reaching the south side. The cabins are spacious and clean, housekeeping comes daily, and breakfast is served in summer. They also welcome pets.
