The room was very small, with only a French door serving as both the entrance and the window. If you lock it at night, there’s no fresh air. There was no AC either, just an electric fan. We were there in January, when it was about 30 degrees Celsius outside, and the room was very hot that night. I woke up to water dripping onto my clothes. It seemed to be leaking from the ceiling onto the floor. The bathroom was tiny but had what we needed. There was private parking below the room, but the space was so narrow that parking a sedan was difficult. The family renting out the rooms also lives in the building. They played very loud music and showed no respect for the guests. The room had the basics, but at 160 BHR we expected more. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I highly recommend it! Pousada Vilamar is an amazing place with a lot of meaning for us. I proposed to my fiancée there, and the owner was wonderful, so welcoming and thoughtful in setting up the surprise. It was an unforgettable moment.

The location is practical and easy to find, close to the beach, supermarkets, and a pharmacy. Everything felt clean, organized, and comfortable, and the accommodations were great for getting some real rest. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth, care, and politeness. You can tell attention went into every detail. I’ve found my favorite place to stay and will definitely be back.
