Anaui Pousada

I can't speak to the rooms, since I only came to the restaurant for breakfast, and did that twice. The view is phenomenal, and I thought the food was great too.

The service staff are very professional and highly trained.

Five stars for this clean, safe place with all the amenities. It feels like a real paradise.

The breakfast was a highlight, especially the really delicious tapiocas and the bolo de rolo, a Pernambuco specialty I love and rarely find in SP. There was plenty to eat, as you'd expect at a pousada rather than an all-inclusive resort, and the breakfast room was pleasant and air-conditioned. Our flight home was early, so we had to leave before breakfast. We told reception, and they packed sandwiches and fruit so we wouldn't go hungry. That was such a kind gesture, and I want to thank the staff and manager for it. The employees were welcoming and polite throughout, always ready with tips and there to greet us when we returned from outings. The reception team, including the relief staff, were especially lovely. We stayed five great days at Anauí Pousada. The setting is wonderful, right by the beach, with facilities facing the sea. There isn't beach service, which had been made clear beforehand, but they provided fresh towels for the beach. The pool was treated every day and open for guests to use during the day. Our sea-view room suited us well. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves was lovely, the bed was comfortable, and towels and sheets were changed daily when requested. The air conditioner was new, quiet, and worked well. The bathroom had a strong gas-heated shower. The one thing I'd change is the shower curtain. Glass-free alternatives are available, and the curtain sticks to you when it touches your body in the shower. It didn't spoil the stay, though; it was the only thing we'd change. The location is about a five-minute drive from the center of Porto de Galinhas, and an Uber cost 10-15 reais each way. The area outside the pousada is simple but felt safe. We arrived in the early hours and found it quiet, and locals confirmed that impression. There are places to eat nearby, but don't expect a lively scene. It's peaceful there, which we loved. I'd definitely stay again. A 10 out of 10!
