I felt clearly misled by this accommodation. Breakfast was listed as included when I booked, and that was why I paid about 40% more than for similar options. Once I arrived, I was told breakfast wasn't included and I'd have to pay separately. Any guest could get the same breakfast by paying extra, so the benefit I thought I'd paid more for wasn't there at all. The resort doesn't include breakfast as a service. This feels like a scam and a breach of contract, with no transparency for guests. I don't recommend the accommodation, and Booking.com should seriously review its published information because it doesn't match the service offered.

Polinésia is an excellent complex, with lots of pools and especially good access to the beach. A welcome bonus is that Polinésia guests can use the facilities at Samoa Resort. Parking is spacious, rotating, and easy to access and use. The check-in process could use attention because it was a bit confusing. Guests are asked to go first to the Samoa Beach Resort reception, then sent to Polinésia reception to be identified and given wristbands. Communication between the two desks is unreliable, and guest details aren't always fully passed between the teams. This seems to happen repeatedly and causes hassle on arrival. Since this communication issue is systemic, the complex needs to improve operations so the receptions work together better and check-in is quicker.

The quieter, more private feel was a big plus for us, especially with the kids, who had plenty to enjoy. We loved spending our holiday with the family at Polinésia. The setup and pool were great, and the beach too. You can order food from the resort restaurant on WhatsApp and have it brought right to the residence door. I think it’s one of the best things the city has to offer, and we’ll be back many times.

We stayed in the condominium because that suited us better, though we really enjoyed the hotel’s nightly music and the range of food choices. Muro Alto beach is beautiful, and the setting feels peaceful, with plenty to do. The location is hard to beat, especially for families.
