Hotel Pousada WS

We went from March 16 to March 22 with a group of 17 friends and family, and we all loved the pousada. I'd read some negative comments and was worried, but I didn't find the problems mentioned there. We had eight rooms, and they were all in good order. One room had an air conditioning issue; I told the owner, and she promptly moved us to another room. The pool was wonderful, the neighborhood very peaceful, and the beach really close. The staff were very polite. Breakfast didn't have a huge selection, but everything was fresh and tasty. The cakes were wonderful 😋. We enjoyed our stay, would definitely recommend it, and would return. The owner gave us a lovely little gift that we adored 🥰

I was a little nervous after reading some comments, but the pousada exceeded my expectations. It's simple, but really nice and welcoming. The reception guy was especially attentive and gave us great tips. The women at breakfast were lovely and helpful too. Breakfast was simple rather than a huge buffet, but there was everything we needed to start the day. Our room was comfortable, with a balcony, working air conditioning, and a shower that heated up properly. The location was great, close to the beach. I'd definitely come back! 🌴✨

We stayed from 01/12 to 08/12. The CVC guy sold us the package saying the pousada was near downtown, but that wasn't true. It's 4km from the center, so you have to take an Uber to get there. The pool was okay, but it wasn't vacuumed regularly and looked dirty for about two days. Breakfast was awful. The cake was dense, and I heard the kitchen staff saying it had been sitting there for days. The sausage made me sick. There was no banana, apple, yogurt, or pão de queijo at breakfast, things that are usually always available. The room was just about okay for sleeping. It was very small, with no balcony or wardrobe. They cleaned it every other day. The photo below shows the sheet on the first night, with these little holes in it that I think were from cigarettes.
