It also advertises children's passports, but we found out children have to be over 2 to take part. A couple of times there wasn't enough table space at breakfast, although we'd paid for it. The hotel employees had an event and were using the room where breakfast is normally served. I raised these complaints with the department manager. He said staff should do everything possible to make my stay good, but wouldn't admit the advertising was misleading. He blamed mistakes in the ad, yet I'd checked it over time and nothing had changed. There was no compensation, just what felt like arrogance toward my complaint. The ad still says they speak three languages. In reality, they speak Portuguese and Spanish, not English. If you speak another language, come from somewhere other than Brazil or Spain, or need explanations about where the toilets are, you'll have trouble understanding. And if you're a parent hoping for childcare while you relax at the beach, remember your child has to be at least 2. If you try to bring family or friends into the hotel to babysit, expect staff to ask about extra payment for extra guests.
