Hotel Santorine Plaza Itabira

The room was very basic for a price that didn’t feel worth it, and housekeeping spoke badly about the management. The reception had no identifying sign, and in the morning staff were absent even when I needed to check out. Other guests were inconsiderate, smoking inside the hotel and talking outside the rooms late into the night. Breakfast was basic, the juice was powdered, and flies were landing on the fruit. There was no water to drink or buy in the fridge, and they offered me tap water instead. I wouldn’t recommend this place to a woman.

I’m really impressed by the service. The location is perfect if you need to get around quickly.

The location is great and the price is market rate. The room was small, though, and the cleaning could be better.

The staff were attentive and the service was good. Breakfast was simple but tasty. The main problem is parking: there’s no hotel parking, and finding a space on the street is almost impossible. I arrived in the afternoon and had to keep circling the block. Also, the double bed was just two single beds pushed together, and they separated during the night, so I had to sleep on one of them.
