Chocolate Hotel

The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the pool and food were just perfect. The hotel itself was absolutely stunning. I can’t recommend this fabulous place enough!

The food was probably my favorite part, fresh, healthy, and really tasty, with everything served beautifully. Our room was comfortable, spotless, and nicely decorated, and relaxing by the pool felt like being in a tropical forest. The Chocolate Hotel made for a lovely stay, and I’d happily visit again.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with delicious food freshly baked or prepared. The staff were attentive and welcoming throughout our seven nights, especially Sophia, who helped with whatever we needed. The owner Giulio also shared useful ideas for activities nearby. The hotel is beautiful and well kept, with unbeatable views, and the spacious, clean rooms often have spectacular balconies. Because the rooms are airy, some mosquitos got in; mosquito nets over the beds would help. We brought our own and found it very useful. We had a great stay and would happily return to the charming Chocolate Hotel. The few shortcomings seem to come down to management.

We spent five days here with our family on a trip to Itacare, and the hotel went beyond what we expected. Our suite was spacious and lovely, with a large terrace, and the whole place is stylishly decorated. We enjoyed the pool and the restaurant’s beautiful view and delicious food. Breakfast was satisfying and tasty, too. The staff were hospitable and ready to help. You can feel the care in how the hotel was built and is run. We’d love to come back.
