Pousada Navio Hostel e Camping Pop

The rain was heavy that week, so we ended up staying just one night. Still, this was my second time at navio, and I'll be back. Pablo is a really nice guy, and the location and camping price are good. It's great if you're not fussy.

For a basic hostel, it's okay. The single room is very simple, but getting any rest was impossible. If you need to get up early after barely sleeping, this is the place. They really need to improve a lot.

I booked through booking, but when I got there they said the price was higher. Later I realized it might have been a strategy to cancel through booking so we couldn't review the place. The place was awful: the kitchen was disgusting, with cockroaches and spiders, filthy pans and utensils, and a stove falling apart. It had none of what was promised. There was no access to the hammocks or chairs shown in the listing, and no games either. Other people live there, and the upstairs is private, so guests can only use downstairs. The mini fridge was broken, there were lots of mosquitoes, and there were no windows, just two small panes. Worst experience of my life.

I picked this place because the price was great for me, so the rest felt pretty neutral, neither good nor bad. The location is excellent, very close to mirante do Xareu, the beaches, the town center, and more. One tip if you use the kitchen: bring your own utensils, or wash theirs even if they look clean and dry. We saw three rats walking around in there.
