The worst service I’ve ever had. The staff were very unfriendly, and nobody speaks English.

I stayed at the hotel from 25/02 to 09/03, and I couldn’t get a good night’s rest on any of those days because of Israeli guests. I complained to the hotel and they moved us to another room, but it didn’t help. The cleaning was very poor in both the first room and the Imperial Suite they moved us to later. There was mildew in the shower stalls, hair on the floor, and the bedding wasn’t changed. They also didn’t take away rubbish we’d left in the corner of the room. Breakfast was poor too: the watermelon and bread were past their best, and the hot food station was cold. Hotel security was also lacking. During our stay, several people from another hotel kept coming and going and using the pool. The room’s sound insulation was bad enough that we could hear conversations on the phone in the next room. For the price we paid per night, the experience was very disappointing.

The location is convenient, close to the main street and to restaurants, pharmacies, markets, and shops, which makes the stay easier. The pool area is pleasant and the service there is good, though there may not be enough loungers in high season. You get just one pool towel during your stay; extra changes cost R$ 4.00. Breakfast starts at 7 am in an air-conditioned room, which is a nice comfort. There are fruits, cold cuts, bread, scrambled eggs, plantain, cooked cassava, and a few cakes. The fruit is always the same, papaya, pineapple, and mango. Tapioca and omelets are made to order, and the tapioca is especially good, crisp and tasty. I missed more homemade-style cakes, and the juices were much too watered down. The room is a good size, though the bed and pillows are on the firm side. The bathroom is simple but has an excellent shower. Every room has a drying rack, and towels are changed daily if you leave them on the floor. The gym is small but works for basic exercise, while parking is limited for the number of guests. The only complimentary offering is flavored water; afternoon coffee would make the stay feel more welcoming. Wi-Fi was good.
