The room was spotless, and the bathroom was excellent. Everyone working there was friendly, and the hotel had a pleasant feel. At reception I got a warm welcome. Marcello helped out with my limited Portuguese, speaking excellent English, and shared some good restaurant and café tips. The car was right at the farm too. Very good, I’ll be back... The breakfast seemed suspicious, the shower was poor, and the AC didn’t work. A bad experience overall.

We only stopped for one night because our apartment in BC wouldn’t be available until 2 p.m., but this place was nowhere near worth the price. The room was tiny, the mattress was unpleasantly soft, and the curtains didn’t block out the light. Breakfast was very basic, though I could accept that for the daily rate. What I couldn’t overlook was the strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom drain. Honestly, the worst place we’ve ever stayed. I really don’t recommend it.
