Hostel Bahia Beach

The beach is literally right across the way, and you can hear the waves from the room. It wasn't crowded, which suited us because we could enjoy it without noisy speakers getting in the way. There are two kiosks across from the hostel with good prices. We paid 99 reais for half a kilo of salmon, which was excellent. Everything is close: downtown is ten minutes by car, and the Anchieta bridge is less than five minutes away. For a price that fits the budget, it feels very worthwhile. My wife, son, and I stayed from February 21 to 25, 2026. We were the only guests during the week, which we were happy about. The two women helping us were incredible and very helpful. Our room was Suite 1, with a private bathroom. It was comfortable, clean, and in excellent condition, with working air conditioning, a TV, beds, and a comforter. I'm picky about that stuff, so I noticed. Breakfast was simple, good quality, and very nice. Another plus was being able to order IFOOD and have it brought to the room. The pool was very good, including its size and water condition. There were lots of games in the lounge too, like foosball, pool, Uno, cards, and table tennis. The check-in process was easy and felt considerate of guests. Thanks for everything. I'll return at the end of the year and definitely stay here again on my vacation.

I want to record my dissatisfaction with my stay at Hostel E Pousada Bahia Beach and request a refund for the nights I won't be using. When I booked, it wasn't made clear that my chosen room was the only one without air conditioning. All the photos on the inn's Instagram showed rooms with AC, so I understood it to be standard. That detail was never clearly highlighted. When I arrived, I found there was no air conditioning in the room. I immediately asked to switch, but was told there were no other rooms available. With the intense heat, it was impossible to stay in a stuffy room with a tiny fan, no window, and inadequate ventilation. I told them I couldn't remain there. The person in charge refused to consider refunding the unused nights instead of showing understanding or looking for a reasonable solution. Not clearly disclosing the lack of air conditioning was a failure of transparency in the offer and caused me harm as a consumer. I ask for a refund for the nights I won't use and an appropriate solution. I await a response.

I stayed for five nights with my family and pet in January 2026. The inn is simple but cozy, and Daniele, the attendant, was amazing and very attentive. It seemed like a lot for her to manage alone, so I think someone should help her with organization. The manager should also plan breakfast supplies better: on two days, the bread was hard and from the day before. The garage gate needs fixing too, because getting the car in and out was difficult. Apart from those issues, I recommend the inn. I'm very grateful for the care Daniele and Potyra showed us.

We had a wonderful weekend and are already thinking about coming back soon. The place was spotless and well organized, and even though the rooms were simple, they were very clean too. You could see how much care they put into the property and the people staying there. The breakfast was simple but lovely. They even got in touch before we arrived to answer our questions and make us feel at ease during the trip. Sr André showed us around the whole guesthouse and made us feel right at home.
