For my first hostel stay, this was a great experience. It was inexpensive and felt homey. I had a room with ten other beds, but since it was the off season, I had it to myself. They provided sheets, a blanket, and a lumpy but usable pillow. The kitchen was open to me for making lunch and dinner, and breakfast was included: fruit, cheese, bread, jam, juice, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. I also had a whole fridge to myself for groceries, and there was a barbecue I could use. The internet only worked in the main house, where there was a big TV and a comfortable place to sit and watch. The owner speaks English fluently and enjoys suggesting attractions and good places to shop. The two things I'd improve are the internet and the room curtains, since the streetlight shone straight in.
