Hostel Suarão

The location is handy, with the beach, markets, bakery, and pharmacy nearby. The reception was friendly, the room was clean, and the bedding was clean too. But the TV isn't smart, and the broadcast channels don't come in well. The Wi-Fi doesn't work in the room either. I like to watch a movie in peace at night after a full day at the beach, but live music from the bakery next door carries into the room from 6 to 10 p.m. If that doesn't bother you, Suítes Suarão is perfect.

A very good place to stay, but you need to book ahead.

I stayed here around the September 7, 2020 holiday. There wasn't breakfast, but I don't mind that anyway, especially since it comes with set times. The place is easy to reach from a market, snack bar, bakery, and restaurant. Looking back from 2025, it was a wonderful experience I won't forget. It was clean and well organized, with a cleaning team coming by to help and keep the place hygienic. I felt very comfortable there, and there's a kitchen where you can make your own food. The person who helped us was wonderful and attentive from start to finish, and the other staff were great too. The price is very affordable, and it's a nice neighborhood with markets, a bakery, squares, a park, and the beach. I'd be happy to stay there again someday, even by myself.

I couldn't sleep at all because the room was unbearably hot, and there was only a fan, no air conditioning. It felt impossible to sleep or even breathe in there. Otherwise, I was welcomed very well, and the inn was clean and quiet. I had planned to spend the weekend, but the room was just impractical for sleeping.
