Hotel H Itanhaém

We stayed over the weekend of the 14th, 15th, and 16th. The hotel is almost right on the sand, which makes it easy to go between the beach and the hotel, especially with kids who need to use the bathroom. The front desk is wonderful. Dona Z did everything she could to sort things out and meet our needs. She deserves a 1000, and really helped make the stay a good experience. There’s no parking lot, so the car stays parked in front of the hotel. Room 27 was spacious, with three single beds and one double. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were very hard. The bathroom looked dirty, the seat was broken and hurt to sit on, and there was nowhere to put shampoo or creams, just a soap dish in the shower. There were no towels in the room. I only found out when I asked before showering, though they kindly brought us four that were small and thin. Breakfast runs early, from 8 to 9:30. It was okay, with the basics. I asked for scrambled eggs, and they kindly made them for me. The kiosk in front of the hotel sends the bill to the hotel, but I wouldn’t recommend eating there. It’s expensive, the service is poor, and the portions are tiny for the price. I paid R$ 20,00 for an Original 600 ml. I recommend Quiosque Tropical, about 300 meters farther along. The Heineken was ice cold at R$ 18,00, and the portions had fair prices and sizes. The beach umbrellas were small and old. We rented a tent for R$ 50,00 and stayed all day, which was the best thing we did. Now it’s time to enjoy, life is a party.
