7 Beaufort - Kitesurf Pousada

We booked two superior rooms for a trip with friends in August 2025, and had a really comfortable stay at 7 Beaufort. The place has a friendly, lively feel, so it was easy to meet people. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful with all sorts of information, and they have secure spaces to wash and store kite gear. The school is right in front, with plenty of energy and people ready to help; they also arrange kite trips and downwinders that you can join with other guests. We loved the restaurant too, the food was delicious and a clear step up from other places in the area. The rooms were clean, spacious and stylish, while the bar and pool area was lovely and always busy with kiters. I can't wait to go back.

I planned on staying seven nights, then added two more because the place just worked so well for me. The photos don't show how much charm and character it has. My room was spotless every day, with a huge comfortable bed, quiet AC, floating wood decor, and a warm open-air shower right in the bedroom. The large tinted windows look out onto the kite spot, and in the mirror while brushing my teeth I could see kites jumping behind me, which gave me goosebumps. There was a hair dryer and WiFi worked well everywhere, including the room, restaurant and kite school. The kite gear storage was the best I've seen across at least 10 Mecca kite spots and highly rated places. Food was great. Breakfast had a good mix, and lunch and dinner menus changed daily, with pokés and burgers as regular options. The burgers are especially tasty. The atmosphere was just the right mix of quiet and sociable, and there are parties nearby if you ask about them. The wind and flat water are great: there's a flat area for practicing jumps on the far side of the lagoon, and flatter water close to 7beaufort for regulars. Tides can be a nuisance, but even at the worst timing you can kite 3-4 hours at the spot. To ride longer, you can do a 10-minute downwinder to a knee-deep flat area, then spend 15-30 minutes going back upwind, depending on the rising tide. If you're not comfortable downwinding, there's a daily five-minute transfer from 7beaufort and back. The downwinder, 60-jump session and return upwind took 2 hours 30 minutes total. The staff were friendly, professional and attentive. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Brazil to kite.

The owner is so welcoming that you feel at home quickly, and the staff help you get onto and off the water fast whenever you want. The place is beautiful, the cooking is good, and you’re only 10m from raising your kite at an incredible spot. The staff are lovely too. I’m not sure how it could be better, probably the best place I’ve stayed for kitesurfing, and I’ll be back ASAP. One thing to keep in mind: with the heat and open windows, nights can be noisy from dogs or people talking outside, so bring earplugs.
