Breakfast was excellent and brought right to the chalet door, which was great for privacy. Señor Rafael and Dona Angélica were so helpful and did everything they could to make our stay memorable. When we arrived, there was even a jug of cold water waiting in the mini-fridge. We stay in lots of places, but had never seen that much care for guests. The chalet itself is wonderful, so thoughtfully kept and cozy. There’s a pool on the property, plus a Spinner bike and sauna in the shared area. Chalé Canto do Pavão is very well located, right among Visconde de Mauá, Maringá, and Maromba, and at the start of the trail to Poço do Maribondo and Poço da Esmeralda. We were welcomed incredibly warmly by the owners, Señor Rafael and Dona Angélica, and their dog Bill. We’re very, very, very happy with our stay and wished we could have stayed longer. We’ll be back very soon.

Surrounded by nature, Pousada Canto do Pavão is a peaceful, lovely place for anyone looking to rest and enjoy the good energy. The chalets are comfortable and cozy, and breakfast was delicious. Rafael and Bill 🐾 gave us such a warm welcome. We’re already looking forward to coming back and exploring more of this special little spot.

The location is a real treat, with some of the region’s best waterfalls nearby, and the natural scenery around the chalet is beautiful. It’s become our refuge, and we’re already planning to return many more times. If you want a peaceful retreat in Visconde de Mauá, Canto do Pavão is the place. Definitely an experience worth having again. This was our second stay at Chalés Canto do Pavão, and it felt like catching up with an old friend. Rafael and Angélica welcome us with such warmth that the stay feels special. The peace around the property is hard to describe, it’s a real place to rest. The chalet was immaculate, comfortable, and decorated with care. You can see how much attention the hosts put into making guests feel comfortable. And the breakfast, especially the herb bread, was divine.

The chalets are so well cared for, and breakfast served on the chalet veranda is a highlight. It’s a beautiful, cozy place, and Rafael and Angélica have a rare kind of friendliness that makes you feel at home. We’ll definitely be back.

The hosts were spectacular and made our stay unforgettable. The chalet was immaculate and fully equipped, and the location is great and quiet. Breakfast was the best we’ve had in years of staying at hotels and inns. Everything was made with so much care. We’ll be back soon.
