Chalés Existe um Lugar

Fernando, the inn’s manager, was so friendly and helpful that you could spend hours chatting with him. Our chalet was private, clean, and wonderfully cozy, and they brought lots of delicious breakfast treats right to it. Being there felt like a gift. We’ll be back and will tell everyone we can. A truly one-of-a-kind experience.

We wanted a night in and ordered pizza from a local restaurant. The reception had its menu, and the restaurant delivered to our room. The chalet had a small fridge with nothing in it, a kitchen sink, and a sandwich maker. There’s a water dispenser at reception, so bring bottles to fill there, or bring your own water. I’d also pack soda, juice, chocolate milk, and snacks, since reception was a bit far from our chalet, Orquídea. Breakfast wasn’t included in the nightly rate and cost R$70 per couple. The first bucket of firewood, enough for pretty much a whole night, was included, but another one costs extra. There’s no microwave in the room, so you can’t heat food or drinks there. Maybe reception can help with that, but it’s something to ask before booking. A nice place for a couple’s getaway.

The steep access road has some holes and loose rocks, so getting there can be a challenge, but I thought the effort was worth it. The place is beautiful, and the chalets are tidy, clean, and comfortable. The shower and tub were great, and it’s a good spot to rest and relax. The staff welcomed us warmly, even though they’d had problems from heavy rain around the time I visited. The service was still very good. I’d recommend it.

The owners are so attentive that you end up feeling right at home. With its beautiful view and delicious breakfast, including homemade rolls and cheese breads, it’s a lovely place for the family, kids, a special occasion, a romantic getaway, or simply a rest. We’ll definitely be back soon.
