The breakfast was great, and the staff were kind. The owner made us feel very welcome too. Our room was spacious, and we enjoyed the sauna and pool with their lovely views, plus the billiards table on the rooftop. The location beside Itatiaia National Park was a real plus. Great value for the price, highly recommended.

The room was fairly clean, but the beds were very hard and there was an odd smell. Breakfast was the biggest letdown, and I wouldn't pay extra for it if you have other options.

The meal was tasty and nicely prepared, and breakfast was wonderful, with plenty of variety. I slept well in a comfortable room that met my expectations. From the moment I arrived at Pousada Campo Alegre, I felt very welcome 😊. I'd recommend it to anyone passing through Rio de Janeiro, and I'm sure I'll come back.
