The location is the one real plus here. The mattress was badly worn and uncomfortable, and the bath towels were damp. The shower only heated properly when the water was turned down low. Breakfast had few choices, and the bread and cakes were bland and below what I expected. Wi-Fi was slow and kept cutting out, so getting online was unreliable.

The calm, welcoming atmosphere really charmed me, and everything felt cared for, from the attentive service to the spotless rooms. Breakfast was wonderful, with lots of fresh, tasty choices, all made by Janice, the owner. I definitely recommend this inn.

A complete lack of care. The first room had an awful mattress, so we asked to move. When we got into the second room that night, there were two huge cockroaches. We called the staff, who had only an empty bottle of insecticide and a broom to deal with them. After the cockroaches were removed, we checked the room and found dust everywhere, spiderwebs, and mold marks. We asked to change rooms again. The person in charge complained and offered a discount, then told us to find somewhere else, even though the inn was empty. All night there was noise in the ceiling, like animals moving around. The minibar was rusty and the bedding was old. Don't come here.
