The rooms are spacious and quiet, and the hotel itself is okay. Still, this was the newest hotel in town and the worst one I’ve stayed in here, in my opinion. I was there for a week, and the staff didn’t seem used to guests who aren’t Brazilian. I had booked and paid through Expedia, but they still wanted a Brazilian document to complete the booking. Right away, I was told that anyone without a certain Brazilian document couldn’t book. I speak Portuguese, so I understand why they might assume I have Brazilian documents. But hotel reception staff should know how to welcome people instead of turning them away. I’ve stayed in all the hotels in this city already. Given how things went, I’d suggest looking for another option, though this hotel is quiet and the rooms are roomy.

The location was good, but the rooms were badly cared for, looked dirty, and had old, worn linens and poorly made beds. The reception staff weren’t friendly and came close to being rude. We booked because it was listed as a 3-star hotel, but it felt like one star at most. I can’t understand the reviews calling this place good. For us, it ranks among the three worst hotels we’ve ever stayed in.
