Such a lovely place 👌

The owners were so attentive, and everything was spotless. We only stayed two nights, but got plenty of rest. The breakfast was wonderful, the pool was lovely, and the garden was beautifully kept. It was easy to get to the waterfall, too. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it.

Dona Neli and Fred were so warm and kind to us. Dona Neli is a lovely person, and her homemade breakfast had that delicious, cozy grandma's-house feel. The pousada itself is peaceful and welcoming, with beautiful gardens, fruit trees, lots of greenery, an amazing pool, and even a private waterfall. A thousand points for you all.

The nearby waterfall is well worth a visit, and the place itself is beautiful. Everyone was friendly and attentive, the service was great, and breakfast was good, simple, varied, and seemingly made there. The main drawback is the setup: the chalets are really two adjoining suites sharing one veranda, so it feels more like a hostel than having your own chalet. You also can't prepare meals, eat in the chalet, or use the veranda for that. There isn't a wardrobe or much room to put things away, and the rooms aren't cleaned daily. There's no drinking water on site, either, with no fountain or water for sale, so bring your own. I felt the price was high for what's offered, so it's best to know about these things beforehand.
