I've stayed at this wonderful pousada once before. The rooms are spacious and cozy, the staff are attentive, and breakfast is great. It's a lovely place and well worth it. I remember messaging them late, after a three-hour trip to get there, and they were still so kind to me on WhatsApp. I highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, our stay was unpleasant. There were dead bugs on the bathroom walls, the shower wouldn't heat up, and water ran out of the shower stall when we turned on the tap. We also found cobwebs on the lights and fan. The room is only cleaned if you stay more than 3 days, and you have to ask for a towel change and hand over the old one. The parking entrance was in terrible shape. Even our brand new car struggled and spun its wheels trying to get up the steep ramp. Breakfast was the same for all 3 days, and everything seemed to be from the day before. There were no fresh cakes that day.

The pousada is very pretty, and the room was spacious and airy. The jacuzzi and sauna are included in the price, so book a time as soon as you arrive. Wallace at reception was a good guy and gave us tips for outings. I'll be back.

My family and I loved spending Christmas at this wonderful pousada! Everything was clean and organized, and breakfast was great. The leisure area has a pool, sauna and jacuzzi. We'll definitely come back.

The price felt fair for a stay in Serra do Cipó. Our room was really comfortable, with a huge bed, and the pool and hot tub were great. The tasty snack portions were reasonably priced too. I’d happily return to Pousada do Sr. Ivan.
