The hotel feels old and could do with refurbishment. My bed was very worn and sagging, and after two nights my back hurt. The shower was okay, but the outlets were 220v, so I couldn’t use my curling iron or clothes steamer. On the plus side, the staff were very nice, and both breakfast and the buffet lunch were good.

The room often ran short of towels, soap, and shampoo, and cleanliness was poor. Wi-Fi kept dropping and the connection was weak, so we had to reset it almost every day to work from the hotel. Breakfast was chaotic throughout my stay: dirty tables were hard to find available, and basics like forks, papers, and glasses were missing. I think I went without a fork about 90% of the time. The elevators were also frequently out of order. Employees had to use the stairs during busy arrival and departure times, including some older staff members who had to climb ten flights.

I’d have liked the option to reuse towels and bedding for more than one day. Still, I found Ibis Jacareí very nice, with good service, a handy location, and good value.

Renan at the front desk was cheerful and especially helpful every time I dealt with him. I had a wonderful stay and would happily return and recommend the hotel to family and friends.

For the price, it’s a good deal and very economical, though the location isn’t the best. The staff were great, especially the housekeeping and kitchen teams.
