The price was very reasonable, and the place was spotless. It’s a modest, modern hotel with no fancy extras, but the good linens and strong air conditioning made it comfortable. Parking is off the street, and Reds Restaurant is just half a block away. They give you a breakfast ticket for Reds, where there’s far more than I could finish: pastries, bread, spreads, fresh orange juice, yogurt, and coffee or hot chocolate. I took some muffins along for later.

I’ve stayed here twice, and both times the quiet area made it a good place to rest before carrying on. There are usually lots of Uruguayans stopping over too. It’s basic, but comfortable, and the 24-hour reception is handy when you’re just passing through. Neither visit had parking available, so we left the car on the street, where it was watched. Breakfast is at a family-run restaurant about 50 meters away. It’s plentiful, varied, and really good.

For a night’s rest after a long drive, this is a good choice and, for the price, the best option around here. The hotel is well located, has covered parking, and the linens and towels were clean. There’s internet access as well. Breakfast costs extra and is served at a nearby bakery. I’d go out and get coffee the way I like it, though, since that’s cheaper than booking breakfast through the hotel.
