The setting is gorgeous, with a privileged view of lush nature and access to Mangue Seco. The only downside is the terrible road connecting Linha Verde, Praia de Costa Azul, and the village of Coqueiro. The municipal administration seems not to care about that tourist area. Paving the pothole-filled road would surely bring more visitors and benefit everyone. Investors put money into wonderful inns and restaurants, but thinking about the road to that stretch can really put you off. Unfortunately.

The inn is beautifully built, with high ceilings and rustic wood, and the setting by the canal is magnificent. It’s close to the dunes of Mangue Seco, with a quaint, picturesque feel. Luciano makes a delicious bean soup to get your energy back, plus a simple breakfast for after watching the sunrise.

We liked the village and its sunset, but the stay itself was disappointing. I’d been taken by the photos and went there with my wife, but we weren’t lucky. The pool wasn’t working, there was no bread at breakfast and they simply said it hadn’t arrived. They pointed us toward a route to the sea, but there was a closed gate. On the way back, we had to climb over it instead of finding it left open. There was also a horse wandering loose.

The owners were kind and polite, and kept checking that guests were comfortable. The beauty of the place and how warmly we were welcomed made our days unforgettable. We loved our time at the resort and highly recommend it!

The boat comes right into the resort, which has a great setup: spacious air-conditioned rooms, a pool, bar, and restaurant. The place is beautiful and peaceful, the food and breakfast are delicious, and the service is excellent.
