The internet was only 1-2 Mbps, so I couldn't use it, and the restaurant was closed. The beds felt like concrete, the pillows were cheap, and the towels were like sandpaper. The rooms are tiny too. There must be better hotels nearby.

It's still a clean, comfortable place, but it used to be better. Check-in always takes ages, and our shower sprayed toward the wall, leaving the whole bathroom wet. The cable TV also doesn't work properly, though most people don't seem to care about that anymore.

There's not much room to unpack, so this works better for a short visit than a longer one. The AC shuts off when you leave, which means coming back to a warm room. There are only a few TV channels, but that wasn't a big deal. On the good side, the beds are nice, breakfast is decent, and the small bathroom sink works well with good water pressure. The staff are friendly and do what they can to help. Good value, though it doesn't have many of the extras I'm used to in the US.

The napkins deserve a mention too, probably the best in all of Jaragua do Sul. And Hotel Itajara serves a great breakfast!

The location is excellent. My room was clean and spacious, and the bed was great.
