Hotel & Restaurante Parque D'anape

We came expecting a family atmosphere, but there were at least 30 men from a construction company staying near my wife and me. I have nothing against them being there. What made us uncomfortable was how they called to each other loudly from door to door, all day and night, and smoked outside our door and window. It took away our peace and privacy, and felt like being on a busy street with noisy neighbors. For a farm hotel, the place really fell short.

The buffet was disappointing this time, with little variety and food that looked unappealing and was well below the restaurant's old standard. The advertised all-you-can-eat barbecue wasn't properly available either. There were just two pieces of meat on the grill, no refills, and no choice of cuts. That was especially frustrating and embarrassing because I was there with my family. I'd visited about four times before and always had very good meals, with generous portions, variety, and quality. After this visit yesterday, I don't plan to return. The service and food didn't match what I remembered or the price. I hope this prompts the restaurant to review its processes and bring back the quality it used to offer.

There was clear lack of maintenance. The bathroom was filthy, stained, and had a stinking drain. The smell was so unbearable that we had to shut the door to sleep. The toilet and its seat were loose, and the room was dusty. The pools were dirty too, and drinks cost an absurd amount. The fishing lake was disgusting and unusable. We arrived at 12:30 for check-in, which starts at 12, but nobody was at reception because the employee was having lunch. I'd been here a few times before and loved it, so I was embarrassed in front of the people I invited. Such a shame this place has become like this.

At Fazenda Danape, I felt my family was put at risk. The room smelled dirty and had no ventilation. During the night, there was a brown recluse spider and a huge cockroach in the room. I couldn't sleep at all, watching my baby and my mother because I was afraid the insects would get near them. The pools were extremely dirty and unfit for swimming, so the money felt wasted. I spoke to management but got no reassuring response. They only said they'd pay more attention next time. I understand it's a farm hotel, but nobody wants dangerous insects in their room. I expected at least a refund, since I had to leave in a hurry to protect my family. It was the worst experience I've ever had.
