Barriga Da Lua Flats

It’s handy for a weekend and pretty close to the center. The kitchen could use a lot more basics, though, including a microwave and coffee maker.

We stayed for 20 days, which gave us time to explore the village and take the tours at an easy pace. David and Charles looked after us really well, and our special butler was Romeu the cat! What a character, haha. For a longer stay, we could have used more kitchen items, like serving dishes and baking trays, plus a laundry sink and a drying rack. Still, it was a very pleasant stay, and they helped us with everything we needed.

Jeri is a wonderful place, and I’d suggest visiting from late June to early August. Outside that stretch, the lagoons, which are the main attractions, can be very low or even dry. Lagoa do Paraíso was the best spot around, so it’s worth spending some time there. The accommodation was clean and pleasant, with really comfortable beds and good internet. Charles and David were quick to communicate and helpful. We had a small issue with the shower, but it was fixed during our stay. The place is close to Jeri’s lively spots, just a few minutes from the main street and Rua do Forró.

My family and I loved the flats and would definitely come back. They’re simple, but everything worked properly, and ours was very clean when we arrived. David, who looks after the flats, was friendly and always ready to help. I couldn’t leave a review on Booking because the stay showed as cancelled. I think there may have been a credit card error.
