Pousada Vital

Getting around was difficult because the pousada is far from the village. The staff and reception service also fell short. During the 6 days we stayed, breakfast was poor quality and never changed. The rooms were dirty and poorly ventilated, with visibly old bedding. The bathroom was clogged, which made the stay very uncomfortable. The pillow provided seemed very old and unhygienic, and wasn't fit to use. It wasn't a pleasant experience, and I don't recommend it.

The price wasn't even that low, and I can't recommend this place. The pictures on the sites are completely different from reality. It's far from the center, with no nearby shop to buy water, and the pousada doesn't sell any either. The rooms are stuffy, the old air conditioners are noisy, and the towels and sheets are old and dingy. Room cleaning and replacement of those items only happen every two days if requested, which is absurd. The pool was awful. Breakfast was so bad I can't even describe it, and there were lots of mosquitoes in the rooms. The mirrors were completely oxidized and unusable, and the old showers barely worked. Some staff members wouldn't even say good morning.

I stayed at this pousada in February 2026, and the experience was simply unexpected. It's a really bad place. Everything was old and dirty, there were lots of insects, and it's far from the beach. The pool looked dirty and had no tiles. Breakfast was horrible, and there were no drinks or even basic supplies for sale. There's no regular TV, just YouTube. The employees who showed up didn't even say good morning. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.

We spent 3 days at this pousada after booking through a tourism company. The only person at reception was a man who gave us incomplete information and seemed unwilling to help. The service was not helpful at all. Everything else was awful too. The rooms were dirty, the old air conditioner didn't work, the TV didn't work, and the bathrooms were poorly maintained with no ventilation. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. It's far from the village, with no food for sale nearby. I wouldn't advise staying here. Choose a pousada in the village.
